Energylandia

Description

Opened on 14 July 2014, Energylandia has grown into the largest amusement park in Poland, spreading across 90 hectares in Zator, a location positioned between the Silesian and Lesser Polish agglomerations. The park currently operates 19 roller coasters and more than 130 attractions in total, all accessible under a single admission ticket with no per-ride restrictions. The park is structured across seven distinct themed zones, each with its own architectural identity and audience profile. Bajkolandia serves the youngest visitors with child-scale rides, themed scenery, and dedicated family facilities. The family zone steps up the intensity with roller coasters subject to a 140 cm height requirement, along with water rides and a go-kart autodrome. The extreme zone anchors the park's flagship hardware, including Hyperion, a hyper coaster standing 77 metres tall with a maximum speed of 142 km/h and an 85-degree drop angle, and Water Coaster Speed, which drops riders from over 60 metres at 110 km/h. Smoczy Gród, a five-hectare medieval fantasy district opened in 2019, is built around Zadra, a hybrid wooden roller coaster reaching 63 metres in height, 121 km/h, and a vertical 90-degree first drop, constructed in collaboration between Rocky Mountain Construction and Vekoma. The water park zone, active since 2016, encompasses multiple sub-areas including Tropical Fun with 14 water slides, Exotic Island, and Bamboo Bay, which added 16 further slide runs in 2022. Aqualantis, inaugurated on 14 July 2021, introduced 10 additional attractions centred on the double-launch coaster Abyssus, rated at 100 km/h across twin electromagnetic launch sections. The most recent zone, Sweet Valley, covers 4 hectares and includes two family roller coasters alongside 10 attractions themed around a confectionery aesthetic.
