Jungle Adventure
Description
Jungle Adventure is a rapids ride designed and built by Intamin and opened at Energylandia in 2017. Circular rafts carry up to nine passengers along a 486-metre channel, moving at speeds reaching 20 kilometres per hour through a course landscaped to evoke a dense jungle environment. The ride's program is defined by a sequence of hydraulic effects that vary with each circuit. Fast-moving currents accelerate the raft through narrow sections, while large waterfalls drop water directly onto passengers from above. Wide basin areas generate waves and spinning vortices that rotate the raft unpredictably, ensuring no two runs follow the same pattern. The surrounding theming reinforces the setting throughout, with vegetation and scenic elements lining the channel on all sides. Height requirements place Jungle Adventure firmly in the family zone: riders must be at least 140 centimetres tall to board unaccompanied, while children between 120 and 140 centimetres may ride accompanied by a guardian. The upper limit is set at 195 centimetres, or 140 centimetres for the accompanying adult.
