Description

Aztec Swing is an extreme pendulum ride located in Energylandia's dedicated Extreme Zone, manufactured by Italian firm SBF Visa Group. Unlike a conventional pirate ship that swings along a single plane, this machine combines pendulum motion with full rotation around its own axis, tracing a circular path with a diameter of 27 meters. The 32-seat gondola builds speed progressively through each arc, until the forces acting on riders reach 4.5 g. At that peak load, a person weighing 75 kilograms effectively experiences a body weight of approximately 340 kilograms. The combination of directional swing and axial spin means there is no fixed point of reference throughout the cycle, which amplifies the physical intensity of each rotation. Access is restricted to riders standing between 140 and 195 centimeters tall.
