Light Explorers
Description
Light Explorers is a family shuttle coaster manufactured by Vekoma, located in the Aqualantis zone of Energylandia in Zator, Poland. It opened on July 14, 2021, as part of a themed area built around the narrative of a sunken city. The ride is set within the archaeological excavations of Aqualantis. Riders enter through an old lighthouse before boarding an ancient machine that carries them on a journey forward and back along a 238 m track. Powered by a booster wheel lift hill, the single 10-car train reaches 60 km/h and crests a height of 24.2 m, generating up to 2.8 G across the shuttle layout. Each cycle accommodates 20 passengers, with the attraction running a throughput of 686 riders per hour. Height requirements allow children between 100 cm and 120 cm to ride accompanied by a guardian, making it accessible to younger guests within a family group.
