Choco Chip Creek
Description
Choco Chip Creek is a steel mine train roller coaster built by Vekoma and located in the Sweet Valley zone of Energylandia in Zator, Poland. It opened on 27 April 2024 and belongs to Vekoma's Junior Coaster model line, a family-oriented platform with over 140 installations worldwide. Each of the three trains is styled after a steam locomotive, pulling six cars for a total capacity of 32 riders per cycle. The track is finished in chocolate brown, with dark green supports reinforcing the theming concept: a mine railway running through a chocolate factory set within the Sweet Valley landscape. The layout covers 1200 m of track across a structure 16.5 m tall, reaching a top speed of 55 km/h and delivering a full ride time of 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Three separate chain lifts drive the train through the course. After leaving the station with a 90-degree right turn, the train climbs the first lift and descends into a right-hand helix, then works through a left- and a right-hand spiral before a pair of 180-degree turns leads to a trim brake. A 135-degree left turn feeds directly into the second lift, which runs parallel to the first. From its crest, a mirror-image left-hand helix leads into a 180-degree right-hand turn and a second left spiral, followed by a rising right-hand spiral and another brake. A final 90-degree left turn brings the train onto the third and last lift. The descent from that crest threads through a right-hand helix, a 180-degree left sweep over a crest, two rapid 180-degree reversals, and a tight right-hand spiral before the final brake return to the station.
