Powszechna Wystawa Krajowa
Description
Powszechna Wystawa Krajowa, known colloquially as PeWuKa, was a large-scale national exhibition held in Poznań between May 16 and September 30, 1929, spanning 138 days. Organized to mark the tenth anniversary of Poland regaining independence, the event served as a showcase of the achievements of the reborn Polish state rather than a permanent leisure facility. Within the exhibition grounds, at least one roller coaster was documented as part of the fairground entertainment offering, reflecting the common practice of incorporating amusement rides into major exposition events of that era. The site has since ceased operations, and the exhibition remains a historical chapter in Poznań's urban and cultural development.
