Covering approximately 100 ha, the forest at EDELWIES forms one of the most defining elements of the park's character. It spreads across the gently rolling terrain at the foot of the Vorderer Bayerischer Wald near Neukirchen, weaving through and around the leisure facilities rather than serving as a mere backdrop. Attractions across the site are deliberately integrated into this natural setting, allowing the woodland to shape the atmosphere for visitors of all ages.
