Schratzl-Schlupf

Description
Schratzl-Schlupf is a themed playground area within Freizeitpark Ruhpolding, built around the concept of a crystal mine inhabited by industrious dwarves. Visitors pass through the Kristallbergwerk, a mine shaft setting complete with talking tunnels, before attempting the Schratzl-Schlupf itself, a Bavarian dialect term for a secret passage. Those who work up the courage to crawl through the deep shafts are rewarded with glory and a hero's medal. Alongside the mine exit and to the right of a small stream, dedicated search fields allow visitors to hunt for gemstones and precious treasures hidden in the ground. The attraction carries no strict age restriction; the park describes it as suitable for all ages, from the very young to adults.
