Froschbahn

Description

Froschbahn has been a fixture at Bayern-Park since 1995, holding the distinction of being the park's first roller coaster. The ride is themed around a friendly green frog dressed in a red suit, green bow tie, and hat, and its 60.2 m of track winds through a naturally styled landscape of shrubs and shade trees. A small frog pond greets visitors at the exit. The chain lift carries the single five-car train to a height of 3.3 m, and the circuit runs at a top speed of 26 km/h. Each car seats two riders side by side, bringing the per-cycle capacity to 10 passengers and an hourly throughput of 600 guests. Those requirements reflect the ride's purpose: children from 95 cm in height, accompanied by an adult, can experience their first roller coaster here. The minimum age is 3 years, and the maximum height allowance is 210 cm.
