Description

Steinwirbel is a Kontiki (Disk'O) ride manufactured by Zierer, located in the Thalonien themed area of Bayern-Park. The circular platform, 19 m in length, accommodates 24 riders across six rows of seats. During the cycle, the platform swings forward and backward along its arc while simultaneously rotating, sending passengers through a continuous combination of pendulum motion and spin. Riders can hold on to the restraint bar as they are pushed forward, pulled back, and swept around with each rotation. Seat selection noticeably affects the intensity of the ride. The outer rows experience a significantly stronger rotational force, while the inner rows offer a calmer version of the same program, making them a better fit for those with limited tolerance for spinning. The attraction is open to guests between 100 cm and 210 cm in height, with a minimum age of 4 years.
