Spielplatz Räuberwald

Description
Spielplatz Räuberwald is a custom-built wooden playground designed exclusively for Bayern-Park by Künstlerische Holzgestaltung Bergmann GmbH and opened in 2019. Constructed entirely from wood, the structure rises to 6 m and is set beneath the shade of deciduous trees, giving the installation a naturalistic feel that complements its fantasy theming. The playground centers on a miniature dwarf world, with four houses and a castle connected by a network of wire mesh tunnel passages. Children navigate these enclosed tubes at height, moving from building to building through routes that twist and overlap in deliberately confusing ways. From the upper levels, visitors gain a clear view over the surrounding dwarf-themed scenery and can see passengers riding the nearby Zwergerlbahn as it passes below. The colorful painted facades and the yellow panels with black silhouettes, a recognizable visual signature of Bergmann GmbH, define the look of the entire structure. When ready to descend, children can exit through a tube slide or take the slower route down via ladders. Access is restricted to children between the ages of 3 and 12, with a maximum height limit of 160 cm.
