Bootsrutschen

Description
Bootsrutschen is a dual-track raft slide built by Metallbau Emmeln and opened at Freizeitpark Ruhpolding in 2017. Two parallel channels descend 13 vertical metres across an 80-metre course, following the natural gradient of the forested Chiemgau hillside rather than an artificially raised structure. The two lanes offer distinct ride experiences. The blue track carries circular boats, each seating a single rider aged four and older, spinning freely through the channel. The green track is designed for elongated boats that accommodate two passengers side by side, with children from age three permitted when accompanied by an adult. In both cases the boats are enclosed enough to keep riders largely dry throughout the descent. The attraction operates daily from 10:00 to 18:00, including during rain, though sessions are suspended in thunderstorm or snow conditions. Reduced operating hours apply during the shoulder seasons.
