Jet Star

Description

Jet Star was the flagship attraction of Lunapark in Lodz, a chain lift steel sit-down coaster that stood 13.5 m tall and reached a top speed of 50 km/h along its 538 m of track. The ride opened in 2004 and served as the centerpiece of an amusement park that had operated since 1974 within the grounds of Józef Piłsudski Park in the Polesie district, neighbouring the city zoo and botanical garden. The park closed permanently in January 2016, and Jet Star ceased operation along with it.
