Description

Wurm im Apfel is a family carousel at Bayern-Park, themed around a cheerful green caterpillar with orange spots and a mischievous expression. The ride features 10 car sections, including a caterpillar head and tail that are particularly popular with young riders. The entire train travels in a circular path around a giant apple core, set beneath a decorative leafy canopy. During the ride, centrifugal force pushes passengers outward, so adults accompanying small children should board the caterpillar car first. The theming extends beyond the ride itself. The entrance area introduces children to forest wildlife, with an owl family, a cat, numerous snails, a stork, a squirrel, and a cheeky worm all hidden within the decorative leaf canopy overhead. The attraction is open to riders from 2 years of age, with a minimum independent height of 90 cm and a maximum height of 210 cm.
