Wildwasser-Rafting

Description

Wildwasser-Rafting is a river rapids ride at Bayern-Park, stretching 600 m along a themed waterway and completing a full circuit in approximately 6 minutes. Riders board circular yellow boats that travel past rapids and a waterfall before a conveyor belt carries each vessel to the highest point of the course, from which a fast descent through the channel follows. The theming draws on the world of coal mining. Already in the queue area, coal crates, mining tools, and related props set the scene, and the atmosphere continues throughout the ride itself, with mine workings, coal wagons, and rocky terrain lining the route. Children from 100 cm in height may ride when accompanied by an adult, while the upper height limit is set at 210 cm and the minimum age at 4 years. At the end of the ride, an onboard photo is taken that guests can purchase after disembarking.
