Dry slideOperating
Steilrutsche

Description
Steilrutsche is a steep dry slide at Bayern-Park, positioned as the more intense alternative to the neighbouring double-wave slide. Riders take their seats on a felt mat at the top and push off down a sharply angled track. The launch requires a deliberate effort to let go, and the descent is fast enough to draw most riders back for repeated runs. At the top of the slide, the surrounding walls are decorated with paintings depicting Bavarian landmarks. Before pushing off, riders also have a clear view of the free-fall tower Voltrum, which rises 109 metres into the sky in the direction of the slide's exit run. The attraction is open to riders aged 6 and above with a minimum height of 120 cm.
