Description

Schaukelschiff is a motor-driven pirate ship swing at Bayern-Park, seating 24 passengers across six rows. During the 2-minute ride cycle, the ship's bow reaches a height of 7 meters as the vessel rocks back and forth in a steadily widening arc. The sensation is felt most intensely in the front and rear rows, where the swinging motion produces a pronounced stomach-lifting effect. Passengers who prefer a gentler experience are better served by the inner rows, where the arc feels considerably tamer. The queue area is styled as a small, simple boathouse, decorated with display cases showing fishing knots, fishing nets, and scale models of large sailing ships. From there, riders pass through a turnstile and walk along a wooden gangway to board the ship. Schaukelschiff is open to riders between 95 cm and 210 cm tall, with a minimum age of 3 years, and the covered waiting area makes it accessible regardless of weather conditions.
