Königsflug

Description

Königsflug is a wave swinger at Bayern-Park that carries up to 40 passengers to a height of 6 m while the seats swing up and down throughout the ride. The flight radius reaches 8 m, giving riders a wide, sweeping arc above the grounds. Installed in 2014, it replaced an earlier chain swing that had been part of the park since 1997, and it stands noticeably taller than its predecessor. The ride is styled in a Bavarian theme, with romantic paintings on the structure that reference the era of kings and queens. Among the 40 seats, 8 are double seats equipped with an additional harness system designed for adults accompanying young children. These paired seats lower the minimum height requirement to 100 cm and can equally be used by couples or friends riding together. The standard height window runs from 100 cm to 210 cm, with a minimum age of 4 years.
