Froschpendel

Description
Froschpendel is a family pendulum ride at Bayern-Park, where three frog-themed gondolas swing side by side, each accommodating up to four riders. What sets it apart from a standard swinging ride is the passenger-controlled mechanism: by pulling a rope inside the gondola, riders themselves determine the speed and intensity of the swing. Those who push for maximum momentum can reach a swing angle of up to 90 degrees, generating a distinct stomach-lifting sensation at the arc's peak. Riders who prefer a gentler experience simply pull less, keeping the frog at a more relaxed pace. The ride is open to guests between 100 cm and 210 cm tall, from age 4 up to age 99. An identical version of the ride, called Kometschaukel, operates inside the indoor hall known as Burg Fellbach, meaning that if the weather turns poor, guests can continue the swinging experience under cover without interruption.
