Description

Standing 8 m tall, the Doppelwellenrutsche is a dual-lane dry slide that lets two riders descend simultaneously side by side. The track features a wavy profile that builds speed on the way down. Before climbing the steps, riders pick up a mat from the bottom, which is required for proper acceleration along the surface. At the top, the platform is decorated with painted murals depicting Bavarian landmarks, and the open view toward the 109 m freefall tower Voltrum is visible in the direction of the slide's exit run. Riders must be at least 90 cm tall to use the attraction independently.
