HUSS Park Attractions
Description
HUSS Park Attractions GmbH is a German company headquartered in Bremen, established in 2006 and specializing in the design, manufacture, and support of flat rides and attractions for theme parks, amusement parks, and fairgrounds worldwide. The company produces rides at its manufacturing facility in Budapest, Hungary, and maintains a global service and sales presence through its Bremen headquarters. The product portfolio spans more than 65 ride models, with well over 1,000 units currently in operation around the world. The lineup is organized across four categories: thrill rides, family-thrill rides, family rides, and immersive rides. Core thrill offerings include the TOP SPIN Suspended and TOP SPIN Classic pendulum-and-rotation platforms, the Giant Frisbee 40/50 (which reaches swing heights of 43 m and speeds up to 100 km/h), the Shot'n Drop and Shot'n Drop Maxi tower rides (the Maxi variant launching 28 riders to 58 m at accelerations up to 4.1 g), the Booster Revolution spinning gyro system, and the Jump2 hydraulic umbrella-style attraction reaching 25 m. Family and crossover models include the Break Dance 5, Spinning Cruiser, Magic 2G, Troika 2G, Enterprise 2G/2GH, Condor 2G/2GH, Pirate Ship, Topple Tower, Airboat, and The Giant. Several of these, such as the Enterprise and Troika, are updated iterations of designs that have been staples of parks and fairgrounds since the 1970s, with some individual units remaining in active commercial operation for more than 50 years. The immersive segment represents a newer direction in the portfolio. The Explorer places 70 passengers in a ring-shaped, floor-level cabin that descends through an iris into an underground 360-degree high-definition cinema, combining motion, climate control, and sensory effects. The Movie Base XS is a flying theatre system accommodating 36 to 108 passengers across one to three units, simulating real G-forces in front of a spherical high-definition screen. The Sky Tower offers panoramic 360-degree views from an air-conditioned glass cabin traveling up a structure available in 100 m, 110 m, and 120 m heights, and a combined Sky Tower Multimedia variant integrates the underground Explorer cinema experience before the tower ascent. The Shot'n Drop Multimedia brings the tower ride format indoors with fully synchronized multimedia content. An in-house creative division, HUSS Creative, provides bespoke theming, custom lighting, and full design packages from initial concept through final artwork. Post-sale technical support, spare parts supply, inspection, refurbishment, redesign, repair, and rigging services are handled by the dedicated subsidiary Huss Parts & Service GmbH, operating from the same Bremen address.
